Kuldeep Malhi's work draws from his mix of cultural experiences, east meeting west. Malhi imbues eastern eroticism and sensuality within his iconography; it is his intention to introduce these cross-cultural references and apparent paradoxes into private and public spaces. His work currently responds to the vertical planes within architectural spaces.
Kuldeep Malhi's work is also about tactlity and touch. visually and compositionally it can be considered as an image or composition like a three-dimensional painting. The potential scale of his work lends itself to commissions as well as exhibition pieces.
Kuldeep Malhi is now a member of Contemporary Applied Arts, 2 Percy Street, London W1T 1DD and will have work exhibited there at the end of July 2006. There will be new members exhibition at the end of 2006, at which Kuldeep Malhi's work will also be exhibited.
