Polydactyl

The wall pieces are created from a single repeated unit, which is asymmetric and idiosyncratic in form. On mass these ‘tentacle’ forms create a tactile environment that inhabits a wall space. Pieces stand proud of the surface, there mass, density and varied colour gives the work optical movement as it spreads freely across the vertical wall surface.

The images are from the show at Royal College of Art, June 2005 and are an example of how they can be used; they can cover entire walls, from one end to the other and from floor to ceiling.

Dimensions for the piece shown in the image are 72cm x 72cm.
